Reed Esau will cover the basics of security on the MarkLogic platform, including authentication, the use of roles, permissions and protected collections, and writing automated regression tests around security. A code-intensive demo will extend a simple resource-oriented API with role-based security.
Reed Esau works at Catalyst Repository Systems in LoDo where he has been developing on the Marklogic platform for three years.
Eric Bloch, MarkLogic Community guy, will also be on hand to review directions and ongoings.
