Announcing the XML Prague 2011 DemoJam Winner!

DemoJamAnnouncing the winner of DemoJam at XML Prague, the first stop on MarkLogic's 2011 Worldwide DemoJam Circuit. The winner was Dennis Knochenwefel, from 28msec, whose demo, "XAWS: a fun project", garnered the most applause and won him an iPad 2. His beer-themed slides and ability to chug a beer had no effect on his winning, of course ;-) Congratulations, Dennis, and thanks to all the participants!

    If you are interested in winning XQuery Amazon Web Services SDK ("XAWS: a fun project") you can visit the sourceforge project at http://sf.net/p/xaws/ (Yeah, it's for everybody, it's Apache 2.0). The project documentation can be found here: http://bit.ly/dTVcVv . The current API is unstable (Alpha version) and will change due to the smart feedback from you guys out there ;). Accordingly, work is in progress for the next Beta release which is coming soon. I also heard about a tutorial that will come in the future showing how to play with it.
