[Corona] How to create element range index in Corona

Hi,

I am trying to create an element range index as below

http://127.0.0.1:9000/manage/range/resource?element=resource&type=string
Response is

{"error":{"status":404,"code":"corona:RANGE-INDEX-NOT-FOUND","message":"Range
index not found"}}


Is this the way to search for an index Or Create an index?

i tried to create this index directly in marklogic and access the above
URL, then also i am getting the same response.

Can you please guide me in creating a range index directly.

I am able to create index using SOAP UI. but i want to know how to create
directly using Corona.
