[Corona] CORONA Test Client

Hi Scott,

Not sure what Eric meant with ‘part of online docs’, but I’d love to see
one integrated in Corona itself. I was digging into such things myself, but
was forced to abandon my work on that for the time being.

There is some work in progress in my fork of Corona that might interest you
though. I added an index page to Corona, as well as a primitive explore
feature. The explore simply lists uris, and redirects to the store endpoint
to show contents. I was thinking of adding a primitive search box page as
well, for the search-related endpoints. Other things you could do with this
would be adding a wizard that discovers present indexes for you, and turns
them into facets for you (that might leverage app-builder functionality?).
I also added XML responses to all base endpoints, so you could open them
from the index as well and see some statistics and info. There were still
some rough edges, but it works well enough to get a first impression of
where it could go.

I had also done some work on generating a WADL and SOAPui-project file, but
got a bit stuck with the way the endpoints were configured. It does produce
something, which works up to some point, but it would be more useful if it
could be improved..

Kind regards,

Geert

I think we should have this available as part of the online Corona
documentation - it would require one to receive a key/acct perhaps... as
other SaaS documentation/sample things do...

Before I create something myself, I wanted to know if anyone has put
together a CORONA web test client. I would imagine it would look like some
web form that would take in the endpoint parameters and have a frame
displaying the response. Does anyone have something similar to this that
they could share with me?
