[XQZone General] What's the best way to export a large amount of data?

My group is new to Mark Logic, and several of our tables are being moved
from Oracle to Mark Logic (by another group in our organization).  Some of
the tables are large, including one that is 6-8 GB.  We have a business
requirement to export these tables, as flat files, to another company, which
we currently do from Oracle.  We do the export daily or weekly.

We need to be able to do the same thing in Mark Logic, either for the entire
table or for all the records that have been modifiedl.  We'll be using a
Java application to control the export.

Is it better to use an XDBC Server or an HTTP Server for this size of query
output?  Are there size or response issues I should be aware of?

Are there other mechanisms for partial or full data dumps in Mark Logic?
