OK,
This is a limit now.
Struzzo.exe takes my entire CPU and highjacks my computer.
It very bizarre, it can happen anytime. I am writing the code in the
xquery file and all of the sudden the editor hangs.
I tried every possible option, I reinstalled Stylus Studio and Mark
logic but nothing helps.
It's very erratic in behavior and it freezes suddenly and I have to
force to end the program and loose all my work.
Did anybody else have the same problem with Stylus Studio?
Any HELP
Rashid

Does it happen with an empty xquery?
How big is the vehicle-sets.xml file?
Is the Xquery stored on the local file system?
What is the Stylus Studio build number?
Thanks
Ivan

That's in the comment section.
Anyway this is what I did. I first opened the xquery in Stylus Studio it
opened fine.
Then I went to scenario properties and select Marklogic server
Machine : localhost
Port : 9061
Name
Password
As soon as I give that, it hangs. There is some process called
Struzzo.exe which really highjack my computer.

Rashid,
I notice in the Xquery you sent that you have specified the port
settings in the host name field (localhost:9061), you don't need to,
there is a separate field for that. Most likely you end up with a wrong
host name.
Are you sure that Stylus Studio Is not sitting on a time-out rather then
hanging. Did you try to wait few minutes?
Regarding the Stylus Studio version would be useful if you could tell us
the build number.
Thank You
Ivan Pedruzzi

Here is the reply
Which Stylus Studio Version are you running (Help -> About) ? 6
Which Java Virtual Machine version Stylus Studio is using (Help ->
About)? 1.5
Which MarkLogic Server version are you running?3.0-3
Does the hang happens when configure the Server settings or when trying
to execute the query? It hangs when I set up the xquery setting for the
scenario

Hi Rashid,
Which Stylus Studio Version are you running (Help -> About) ?
Which Java Virtual Machine version Stylus Studio is using (Help ->

Which MarkLogic Server version are you running?
Does the hang happens when configure the Server settings or when trying
to execute the query?
Be sure that to use the correct host name and port number. Avoid using
the same port Stylus Studio is using for Java Debugging (8000).
Hope this helps

Hi,
We are using Stylus Studio in our company.
I am trying to open xquery file, but when I do that Stylus Studio hangs.
I tried everything, even reinstalled the entire Stylus S. but then also
no luck.
BTW, there is process Struzzo.exe which takes the entire CPU usage.
Any help, what we should do
Rashid
