[XQZone General] Replacing a PI with a node

Hi,

I need to replace an XML processing instruction with a node and am not
sure whether this can be achieved using XQuery.

Is there a built-in function that can do this? I don't want to replace
the content stored in the server so I am guessing that I might need to
write my own function to do this.

Any guidance on achieving this would be appreciated.
