[MarkLogic Dev General] Config data copy-n-paste?

Anyone know of a technique other than a manual process using the admin
http interface to copy a configuration instance from one ML Server to a
freshly installed one?  We're going to be test driving our application
on a few different platforms and would prefer not to go through the
manual process of configuring our group and databases each time we
install on a new platform.
 
I know there's a database backup/restore, but is there anything for
config data?  Do you just copy the whole .../Data folder?
