[MarkLogic Dev General] Incremental backups? Scripted admin things?

Hi everyone, I'm looking to script some things in mark logic for  
easier deployment.  Can anyone point me to:

1. Examples of incremental backups at the forest level.
2. Scripting the addition of namespace declarations at the database  
level.

I can see how #2 is done in the Admin app, but it looks easy to get  
in trouble.
