[MarkLogic Dev General] phpxdbc

I'm trying to use phpxdbc to send params from a php page to a xqy file.
Could you give me am example how to use xdbc_bind_param function and how to define the xquery external variables?
This has become a problem for me because it is for my final paper and I need to solve it as soon as posible.
