[MarkLogic Dev General] AND Searches

Hi all,

 

We're about to release a beta of our digital library, but we're having
one big search issue.  For some reason our quick search does not do AND
searches across fields.  If your terms are both in the same field and
you search for them without the keyword AND it will work.  If you use
the keyword AND it will not.  If your terms are in 2 fields - say author
and title and you use AND or don't you don't get the results.  OR
searches work however.

 

I'm not sure what code to share with you all, so hopefully I gave you
enough info - if not, let me know what part of the search code you need
to see - or maybe it's just a server setting I'm missing.
