[MarkLogic Dev General] question about xquery support

Hello,

we're currently evaluating the use of MarkLogic in my organisation,
and I came across the following phrase in the release notes [1] which
made me frown:

"Additionally, much of the added functionality in the January 2007 W3C
XQuery Recommendation is implemented in MarkLogic Server 3.2."

How much is 'much', and what's been left out and why?  Thanks in advance.
