[MarkLogic Dev General] Search:Suggest and Internationalized documents

I am trying to use search:suggest and am having a minor issue where
sometimes a word is shown in a different language. Is there a way to limit
the suggestion-source or the default-suggestion-source to only show results
from one language? My search:search call is using searchable-expression to
limit the search documents to a specific language. Is there anything similar
for suggestion-source?

TIA for any thoughts
