[MarkLogic Dev General] Unable to import modules if not an admin user

Can those same users see the modules, for example, by doing a doc("path-to-module-in-modules-db.xqy") ? They need to have a role corresponding to at least an execute permission on the document (and read is helpful too but not technically needed).
If you give the exact error you are seeing it might help.
Now I am assuming you are talking about a modules database here, not the Modules directory under the MarkLogic program directory.
For info on resolving paths, see the following in the Application Developer's Guide:

Subject: [MarkLogic Dev General] Unable to import modules if not an admin user
I'm unable to import a custom module from eth Modules database unless I'm an admin. What is the best way to find the cause of this?
