 Privileges to connect xdbc server in MarkLogic Server 4.0

It should be possible to connect with any user, and one with admin role for
sure.



The name of the admin user may not be ‘admin’ though (any user with admin
role will do). Also, make sure you got the password right. Try logging in
on the admin interface using the credentials you are passing in. If that
succeeds, than they should work..

Hi all,

Admin user can not connect to xdbc server by default in 4.0?

I have tried from a xcc.net program and throw this exception:

Unhandled Exception:
com.marklogic.xcc.exceptions.RequestPermissionException: A
thorization failed for user 'admin'.
 [Session: user=admin, cb=Xdata [ContentSource: user=admin, cb=Xdata

What privileges are need to connect to xdbc server?
